Here is a link to a fun article I picked up on twitter, it’s called “Bow to Your Robot Overlor… Er, We Mean, Check Out This Butler and Housemaid of Tomorrow!” (there are videos too!) It is really exciting to watch what the robots can do nowadays, in engineering terms, and in general as concepts. I am thinking I should start reading sci-fi literature. Lots of cool devices that were once mentioned in those books are now being developed in labs all over the world. Maybe I can pick up and idea and develop it, before somebody else does. I wouldn’t trust that beta-robot, but give it another ten+ years and some mechanical gizmo will be bring your slippers in the morning.

… on the other hand, however helpful these devices are, I would rather get a dog.
